Your words are my words

Your words are my words

Hello, I’m Tatiana.

My journey as an interpreter began in Kyiv in 1993 as a first-year college student, interpreting for foreigners. During my time at Kyiv State Linguistic University, I interpreted nearly full-time around my studies.

Shortly after moving to the United States in 1997, I began interpreting in the court system in 1998. Since then, I have interpreted in a wide range of scenarios and settings.

“I would state for the record that in my 18 years on the bench, Ms. Hay is the best interpreter working for our court.”

- Honorable Paul S. Diamond, Federal Judge, Eastern District of PA (EDPA)

I bring over 25 years of experience to your cases.

I have an active secret security clearance with the DOJ, as well as a B.A. and M.A. in Linguistics from Kyiv State Linguistic University. I actively pursue continuing education to constantly maintain and improve my skills and knowledge, making me an asset to your legal team.

I have provided interpreting and translation services during investigations conducted by the following entities:

  • Department of Justice (DOJ)
  • U.S. Attorney’s Offices
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
  • U.S. Office of Health and Human Services (HHS)
  • U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
  • U.S. Secret Service
  • World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)
  • International Olympic Committee (IOC)

As a professional interpreter, I come prepared.

As a professional, I take pride in showing up for my clients prepared. I do my research, compile glossaries and practice my craft. For more complex matters, I often spend hours learning the details of your client’s case. I find the best language equivalents to communicate effortlessly on the subject at hand.

I encourage my clients to share whatever documents they can safely share with me to help me prepare. I am bound by a strict code of ethics and will only use the material to help me assist you and your client at the highest level of competency.

You can find a wide variety of reviews from past clients on my Testimonials page or on my LinkedIn profile. If you need additional references, I would be happy to provide them.
